New e-learning modules available

MCI has added to its interactive e-learning offering with 2 new modules available online, free of charge. We are also working to provide modules in other languages, and now have 6 modules available in Spanish. In our online training catalogue, you can find many other bite-sized modules covering topics such as: The Star Cool refrigeration system, the defrost heater elements, the condenser fan motor, checking the valves, and installing the power plug.

The first new module is regarding the new Star Cool 1.1. The module introduces the Star Cool 1.1 and its new features as well as covering the major differences compared to Star Cool 1.0.

The second new module is about handing refrigerant. In this module we look at the important factors when handling refrigerant, the tools required, and the safety precautions to take. The module then guides you through the entire process, from preparing the unit, to recovering the refrigerant, completing a pressure test and checking for leaks, vacuuming the system, and finally charging refrigerant.
